BACK TO THE QUESTION OF ONTOLOGY (AND METAPHYSICS)

We articulate a distinction between ontology, understood as involving existence questions, and metaphysics, either providing for metaphysical profiles of entities or else dealing with fundamentality and/or grounding dependence questions. The distinction, we argue, allows better understanding the roles metaontology metametaphysics when it comes to discussing relations ontology science on one hand, metaphysics other. argue that while in this paper, may have reasonable perspectives naturalization, given its relation science, same cannot be said is typically an additional theoretical layer over not participating scientific investigation.
